Kathryn returned to Concordia as a Residence Hall Director in 1968, serving
in that capacity until 1970. In 1971 she began serving as a registered
nurse in the Health Center and was named Kjos Health Center Administrator in
1978. She provides nursing services, supervises staff, handles
administrative duties and represents the college in its relationship with
health care providers serving Concordia students. She is a graduate of
Fairview Hospital School of Nursing and holds a BA in Psychology and
Sociology. She was awarded the Ole and Lucy Flaat Distinguished Service
Award from Concordia College in 2003. Kathy and her four sons are Concordia
graduates.
The mission statement of the Student Affairs division is to enhance student learning by preparing students
for their calling to influence the affairs of the world.
