What liturgies and music are used in our campus worship?
A variety of genres are used in our worship life at Concordia College. We seek to use the best music and resources in a wide variety of genres which give voice not only to the Concordia community, but also to the whole communion of saints.
The hymnals used in our worship include the Lutheran Book of Worship, the Hymnal Supplement, and With One Voice. We regularly use liturgies found in these sources. We also incorporate elements of liturgies from around the globe. Our worship includes, on a regular or occasional basis: The vocal choirs on campus:
The hand bell choirs:
The college instrumental ensembles:
The contemporary worship bands:
Smaller vocal and instrumental ensembles and soloists also offer music in worship. |
