Learning at Concordia goes beyond the classroom. Concordia offers many opportunities for such learning and Perspectives is a tool that will be helpful in that process.  Perspectives is a web page which addresses issues of leadership and service.  It is a source for viewing each of these topics in a new and unique light.  Leadership and service opportunities are simply more than activities to fill our time, or even to fulfill personal desires.  They teach us more about ourselves, our talents and strengths, as well as about the world around us and our place in it.

In addition to addressing the topics of leadership and service, Perspectives will act as a resource for students interested in getting involved with campus organizations. By having this connection established, if you read a Perspectives article about service that motivates you to get involved with a service organization you can go to the Campus Organization List and look under service coalition to see what opportunities are available on campus. 

Perspectives is not just a resource for those in leadership positions on campus.  It is also a source for organizations. Topics that will interest organizations are how to motivate group members, tips for organizational effectiveness and problem solving techniques.  Not only will Perspectives aid those who are currently involved, it is a source for everyone who is interested in learning more about how leadership and service play vital roles in teaching life skills.
