Financial Information for Norwegian Students

Students from Norway should have no trouble with finances while studying at Concordia, and we provide an outstanding value in higher education.

 

Our costs to attend are modest, and you will receive generous support from Concordia and from Lånekassen.  Because of our indepth evaluation and understanding of the Norwegian education system combined with our years of experience enrolling Norwegian students, we offer spohomore (second year) standing to most students who have completed in Norway, meaning you are eligible for Lånekassen financial support from the first day you enroll.

 

The total cost to attend in 2007-08 is $31,260, including tuition, fees, room, board, and estimates for books, personal spending, and travel.  For 2008-09 we estimate the total cost will be $33,800.

 

Norwegian students receive the King Olav V Scholarship from Concordia of $10,000 per year. Lånekassen provides support totaling $34,000, so you have $44,000 per year available, which well exceeds the costs to attend.  Here are the details of the assistance:
