Mission Statement:

In partnership with the Concordia community, the
Office of Intercultural Affairs is a center of
communication and understanding that weaves
the commitment to diversity into the educational,
spiritual, academic, cultural, and social fabric
of Concordia College in order to create a more inclusive
environment for all people.

Vision Statement:

The Office of Intercultural Affairs provides

leadership at Concordia College in the understanding

and education of respect for individual differences

by providing support for diverse constituencies throughout

its community. (e.g. safety, liaison, mentoring, services,

retention/recruitment, climate).

Intercultural Student Activities

Students have been able to gather amongst friends to  share their personal experiences in many informal setting in which they are able to feel comfortable to be open and sincere about their conversation. The ICA strives to provide this kind of environment though College backed events that are open in inviting a larger group of people who may not get to participate in these sort of personal meetings outside of class.

One such example which we hope can continue to happen was the Minnesota Hip Hop Congress that took place in Feb 2006.
